Deseret News, Friday October 20, 2000

This paperback "personal handbook for thriving in the 21st century" was written by a local author, a certified rapid-eye therapist. In 50 short chapters, she shares many interesting case histories and client stories designed to inspire readers to greater happiness. This is properly classified as a spiritual self-help book that emphasizes personal power. The kind of thing Tuttle does could be compared with Ralph Waldo Emerson in the 1830s who suggested through transcendentalism that each person "has a little of the divine inside." Therefore, you should "trust yourself." -Dennis Lythgoe, Book Review Editor, Deseret News.

Reader's Reviews

Remembering Wholeness has illuminated my entire soul. This book has affected my life so personally that I am tempted to have surgically attached! I never want to be without it. Carol has a priceless gift of harmonizing non-traditional views - as far as western culture is concerned - with tradition, to the point that I felt as if I was reading my very own thoughts, finally put into perspective. I literally had the profound feeling of rememberance as I read this book. "Remembering Wholeness" is truly a solution for thriving in today's world. By following the counsel in this book, we can all achieve our greatest potential joy - not only in the future, but here and now. Thank you, Carol, for having the courage to boldly declare these universal truths as we have never heard them before. -Pam Guidel, UT

A Two-Highlighter Book! This book moved me to a whole new level of understanding personal responsibility. It definitely raised the stakes in the game of life and empowered/challenged me more than most of the other self-help books I have encountered. The book contains 50 short chapters that are succinct and easy to read. Each chapter contains gems - you don't have to plow through 200+ pages to get a few good kernels. Carol's insights and experience are refreshing and timely. It is truly a handbook for thriving and is based on the premise that we are whole, not dysfunctional. Right from the start it is a cut above most of what is out there. An ocean of fresh air! -Marilyn Freeman, AZ

What a breath of fresh air...so many clear statements that are easily assimilated in today's stressed-out world. Thank you, Carol, for creating avenues of healing in your book. I especially like Page 26, the second paragraph where you mention "we are remembering by experiencing who we are not"....we are not our lessons....and you go on to say to clients "if the negative beliefs they had about themselves were true, they wouldn't be feeling negative emotions about them." "They would feel satisfied...totally OK...because they tapped into their TRUE IDENTITY." This paragraph has been such a wake up call for my clients...lots of shifts happen when they take this information in. So, thanks for a well written piece and for going the extra mile in giving concrete avenues of healing to break out of the old ruts and patterns. Learning to ask for assistance in our lives is truly self-emPOWERment at it best. -Claudia Bianca, MRET

I need the information in this book in my home and in my life. Thank you again, and again both for the book and for your Rapid Eye technique in improving my life. - J. Remington
